Tender rates for the Treasury Department’s latest 91-day and 183-day discount bills were mixed yesterday, as the three-months incurred a 1.900% high rate, up from 1.855% the prior week, and the six-months incurred a 2.135% high rate, down from 2.255% .
Coupon equivalents were 1.936% and 2.188%, respectively.
The price for the 91s was 99.519722 and that for the 183s was 98.914708.
The median bid on the 91s was 1.850%. The low bid was 1.800%.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 99.94%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.45.
Tenders totaled $56,266,433,200 and the Treasury accepted $23,000,023,200, including $1,651,413,200 of noncompetitive.
The median bid for the 183s was 2.100%. The low bid was 2.050%.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 91.07%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.67.
Tenders totaled $58,810,533,000 and the Treasury accepted $22,000,050,500, including $1,353,783,000 of noncompetitive.
