Treasury Year Bills Go at 0.290% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.290% high yield, a price of 99.706778.

 The coupon equivalent was 0.295%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.78.

 Tenders at the high rate were allotted 49.11%. The median yield was 0.270%. The low yield was 0.250%.

 The bills have an issue date of June 25 and are due June 23, 2016.

 Tenders totaled $85,952,624,100 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,171,100, including $131,624,100 non-competitive.

 The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
