The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $15 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.
There are currently $48.000 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle Oct. 8 and are due Nov. 5.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
