The Treasury Department Monday said it will sell $31 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.
There are currently $80.006 billion of four-week, or 28-day, bills outstanding.
The bills settle Aug. 12 and are due Sept. 9. Federal Reserve banks hold $6.285 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
The Treasury also said it will auction $25 billion of 56-day cash management bills on Wednesday. The bills settle Aug. 12 and are due Oct. 7.
Currently, $58.998 billion of cash management bills are outstanding.
