Technology: The Blue List Now Offers an Internet Edition

The Blue List, one of the prime sources of information on offerings of municipal and corporate bonds, has made its debut on the Internet.

The World Wide Web version will be updated as often as dealers call in new offerings, according to Marjorie Schmidt, vice president of the Blue List.

As well as being more current than the hard-copy version, buyers using the Web version can find the bonds they are looking for more quickly by inputting the criteria they want on screen, Schmidt said.

She said the Web version is also easily accessible: people can look at the list on their PCs at home, and they do not have to live in areas in which the printed list is hand-delivered.

The new service costs $395 a month. Current subscribers pay $810 a year for their hard copies, according to Schmidt.
