Siebert Brandford Shank has hired Rasheia R. Johnson to head its Philadelphia office. She will hold the title of Senior Vice President.
Johnson had most recently been a Vice President at Loop Capital Markets in its public finance division. At Loop, she worked with issuers in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and North and South Carolina.
“We are excited to welcome Rasheia to the Siebert Brandford Shank team,” Gary Hall, Siebert’s National Head of Public Finance, said in a press release. “The Pennsylvania market has been and will continue to be an important market for our firm.”
Johnson is a 15-year veteran and previously worked for the City of Philadelphia as Assistant to the Director of Finance for Debt Management and for Public Financial Management in Philadelphia.
“I’ve always respected the work of Siebert Brandford Shank and its professionals given the firm’s incomparable reputation in public finance. I am pleased to join a firm packed with top industry talent and do so in my home state of Pennsylvania,” Johnson said in the release.
Siebert Brandford Shank is the largest minority-owned municipal finance firm in the United States. It was co-founded in 1996 by the late Muriel Siebert, Suzanne Shank, President and CEO, and Napoleon Brandford III, Chairman.
It is headquartered in New York and Oakland and has 17 offices across the nation.
