Her primary focus will be acute-care hospitals and health systems throughout the Western United States.
“The Western region is an important market for Fitch and Melanie's energy and direct healthcare experience in the region is a valuable asset,” said Jessalynn Moro, Fitch's head of U.S. public finance.
Prior to joining Fitch, Her was with S&P Global Ratings where she was responsible for management and analysis for a portfolio of healthcare issuer credit ratings. She also spent several years with JP Morgan Chase as a senior credit risk manager and portfolio analyst.
She holds several degrees including a masters of Jurisprudence in business law and corporate governance from Loyola Chicago School of Law and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
