Law firm Kutak Rock has added an attorney to its California public finance practice.
Albert Reyes has joined the law firm’s national public finance practice group and will work out of its Los Angeles and Irvine offices.
Reyes has worked for more than 16 years as a public finance attorney as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel for clients across the country.
He comes over from Nossaman LLP. Prior to that, he spent two years at Sidley Austin. He earned his law degree from the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law in 2001.
“We are delighted that Albert has chosen to join Kutak Rock and offer his unique expertise to support our public finance clients across all of the firm’s 17 offices,” Jeffrey S. Gerardo, managing partner in Kutak Rock’s Los Angeles and Irvine offices, said in a statement. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as a real understanding of the current market. He shares our commitment to supporting our clients’ larger strategic business objectives and will be an outstanding addition to our team here at Kutak Rock.”
Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, Kutak Rock has 25 attorneys working in its Los Angeles and Irvine offices. Nationwide, the firm has 516 attorneys and 136 attorneys in its public finance practice.

“Kutak Rock has one of the leading public finance practices in the United States and I look forward to working with a deep and talented bench of lawyers with national scope and established relationships,” Reyes said.
