Former McCall, Parkhurst & Horton LLP tax partner Faust Bowerman has joined Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in the same capacity, Hawkins announced last week.
Bowerman will work out of Hawkins Delafield's New York office. He had been a partner in McCall's Dallas office.
Bowerman specializes in a number of federal income tax matters connected to tax-exempt financing.
Prior to McCall Parkhurst, Bowerman was a senior associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a former chairman of the tax-exempt finance committee of the taxation section of the state bar of Texas.
He has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas and a J.D. and an LLM in taxation from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law.
Hawkins Delafield ranked second as a bond counsel last year, working on 325 issues with a par value of $25.3 billion, according to Thomson Reuters.
