Bond Buyer Indexes Unchanged

In the week ended June 2, the weekly average yield to maturity of the Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index was unchanged at 3.90% from the previous week.

The Bond Buyer's 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation was stable at 3.26% from the prior week. It is at its lowest level since Aug. 26, 1965 when it stood at 3.25%.

The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields was flat at 2.78% from the previous week. It is at its lowest level since April 24, 1958 when it was at 2.78%.

The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index was steady at 3.48% from last week, remaining at a new low since the data began being counted in Sept. 20, 1979.

The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note was three basis points lower to 1.81% from 1.84%, while the yield on the Treasury's 30-year decreased five basis points to 2.59% from 2.64% last week.
