Bond Buyer Indexes Are Narrowly Mixed

The weekly average yield to maturity of The Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, fell three basis points to 3.90% from 3.93% in the previous week.

The Bond Buyer's 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation was unchanged at 3.32% from the prior week. It is at its highest level since March 31 when it stood at 3.38%.

The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 20-year GO yields was flat at 2.84% from the previous week. It is at its highest level since March 31 when it was at 2.90%.

The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index was unchanged at 3.54% from last week, where it remains at its lowest ever since the data began being counted in Sept. 20, 1979.
