The weekly average yield to maturity of The Bond Buyer Municipal Bond Index, which is based on 40 long-term bond prices, dipped to 3.99% from 4.00% last week.
The Bond Buyer's 20-Bond GO Index of 20-year general obligation yields rose one basis point to 3.90% from 3.89% the previous week. It is at its highest level since March 22, 2017, when it was at 3.90%.
The 11-Bond GO Index of higher-grade 11-year GOs gained one basis point to 3.40% from 3.39% the previous week. It is at its highest level in two weeks.
The Bond Buyer's Revenue Bond Index yield rose one basis point to 4.38% from 4.37% last week. It is at its highest level since March 22, when it was at 4.38%.
The yield on the U.S. Treasury's 10-year note jumped to 2.83% from 2.78% the previous week, while the yield on the Treasury's 30-year increased to 3.08% from 3.01% in the prior week.
