The muni market saw $118.241 billion of debt issued in the first quarter of 2025, up 19.2% from $99.136 billion, according to LSEG data. The increased par amount was achieved in 1,876 in Q1 2025, up from 1,618 in Q1 2024, according to LSEG data.
BofA Securities remained at the top of the underwriters' list. Siebert Williams Shank was the only new entrant into the top 10, knocking Piper Sandler out.
