2021's top 10 advisor rankings see new entrants

The top municipal financial advisors saw $377.18 billion of business in 8,569 transactions in 2021, down from the $386.75 billion in 8,763 deals in 2020.

Lamont Financial Services Corp., Swap Financial Group and RBC Capital Markets moved up into the top 10.

Public Financial Management Financial Advisors claimed the top spot but with less volume than 2020. PFM advised on $64.23 billion with a 17% market share versus $69.73 billion and 18% share of the market a year ago.

Public Resources Advisory Group found itself in second place again with a par amount of $44.51 billion or 11.8% share of the market. That compares with its $43.38 billion and a 11.2% market share from 2020.

HilltopSecurities accounted for $30.9 billion and an 8.2% market share to be squarely in third place, compared to $31.12 and a 8.1% market share from the year before.

Frasca & Associates moved up to fourth place, totaling $13.44 billion and 3.6% market share, both up from $11.21 billion and 2.9% share of the market in 2020.

Acacia Financial Group fell to fifth place, with a par amount of $11.76 billion and 3.1% share of the market, both decreases from $17.35 billion and 4.5% during 2020.
